To clarify - What is Let's Chop It Up?
I heard "game is meant to be sold, not told." Well, the 'game' you see is the 'game' that's free. The primary aim is to help ourselves and others like us do good business.
It was a shocker to a few that I left my job to "write a newsletter," lol. That's not the case at all. While I did leave my public accounting job, it was not just to write a newsletter. The newsletter is just one step to a greater goal.
Outside of public accounting, I consulted for small brands and businesses, helping their founders answer big questions and solve complex communication problems. However, as I consult, I constantly notice that many brands and business leaders need better information on how to start and grow their businesses.
There is a significant gap that separates brand—the look, feel, and essence of a business—from its function—the day-to-day management of said business; my work revolves around bridging this gap, and one of the ways I'd like to do that is with Let's Chop It Up. This newsletter and content series is not just a publication but a valuable resource that will empower you with the knowledge to start and build a business, from an idea, brand development, business registration, and even preparing for your first tax return.
Let's Chop it Up will discuss my ideas and experiences from my journey in building my management firm to serve as a practical guide, providing you with the necessary steps and insights to get you from point A to Z. I wanted to be transparent about my experience and give others a resource that can help them get started.
At its core, Let's Chop It Up is a conversation, an exchange of valuable information made more accessible. I will continually invite you to join in, share your journey, ask questions, and contribute your insights. Together, we can build a beneficial resource that is not just a one-way street but a community of like-minded individuals striving to entrepreneur creatively.
The primary aim is to help ourselves and others like us do good business.
